Interview complete….
Posted in pre-departure on 04/01/2009 04:41 am by HeatherWell, I had my interview with Alyse Collins (the PSU Study Abroad lady) today. She’s really nice and I think it went ok. I’m way overly critical of myself after I do something, so of course I can think of a million things I could have done better, but oh well.
During my interview I received some rather shocking news. Remember how I said that I turned in my final Kansai Gaidai paperwork on the 18th? Well, *apparently* some of my stuff has gone missing…. Actually, a lot of my stuff has gone missing….

I’m missing two Letters of Recommendations and my Japanese Teacher Evaluation. And maybe a transcript from my old community college. Oh, and even though the website says “$50 fee waived”, it isn’t. Now, the money I don’t care about, but the missing stuff is tripping me out. I rushed over to one of the Professor’s whose letter is missing (Wetzel-sensei) to confirm that she indeed did send it in. She did. She’s also super-nice so you filled out a new one for me right a way. *However*, I still am missing one letter (Kominz-sensei) and maybe the Teacher Eval. Wetzel-sensei filled out a new Teacher Eval for me, but I’m not sure that’s gonna work. Because the application says I need 3 Letters and an Eval OR 2 Letters and an Eval that can sub for 1 Letter. So, I’m not sure if I can have Wetzel-sensei do a Letter and the Eval and have a Letter from Kominz. I think that way I’m still short a Letter…. Does that make sense? Argh. I’m too tired to figure this out. They just need to find my darn paperwork. =\
